Stephen S. Baer, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., F.I.N.D. Dr. Baer is I.A.O.M.T. president and chair of its International Committee, which certifies the liaisons with chapters in 14 other countries (soon to be 19). He has a fellowship in the academy and was one of the first five dentists ever to receive accreditation in the practice of biological dentistry. In 1998, he was awarded the prestigious Gary Strong Award for outstanding achievement and services to the academy.

David Biles, D.D.S, M.A., F.A.G.D., F.I.N.D. A graduate of UCLA, Dr. Biles has been practicing Biological dentistry for a number of years and brings an eclectic background to the dental profession. Graduating Phi Beta Kappa with degrees in psychology and physical education, Dr. Biles earned a UC Regents Fellowship for his research at the UC Davis Human Performance Laboratory and completed his master’s thesis in exercise physiology while attending dental school. His postgraduate work included 5 years of experience as an exercise physiologist/cardiopulmonary technologist working in the Pulmonary Department, ICU, and ER of Northridge Hospital. Dr. Biles is a graduate of the Orognathic Bioesthetics International curriculum and will be presenting information on full mouth bio-esthetic rehabilitation.

Andrea H. Brockman, D.D.S. Dr. Brockman holds degrees in Nursing as well as Dentistry from Temple University. She has advanced certification for TMJ and pain management from New York University and certification in Esthetic Dentistry from Case Western Reserve. Dr. Brockman has participated in the IRB for DMPS chelation held by Great Lakes College of Clinical Medicine. She also holds certifications in Cranial Sacral Therapy (Upledger Institute), Neuromuscular Therapy (St. John’s), and Antiinfective Periodontal Therapy (International Dental Health Foundation). Dr. Brockman is an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology and the Biological Dental Association. She has authored numerous articles and lectures to professionals and the public. Currently in private practice for over 20 years, she is cofounder of Valley Green Center for Biological Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA.

Charles G. Brown, Law firm of Swankin & Turner Former Attorney General of West Virginia and former Chair of the Antitrust Committee of the National Association of Attorneys General, Charles Brown practices law in Washington, D.C. specializing in health law—especially in representation of organizations and individuals challenging the economic status quo in dentistry and medicine—his work encompasses antitrust and consumer protection law, administrative law, and state government relations. His clients range from nonprofit groups and causes to national trade associations and major corporations to small businesses and individuals. Mr Brown’s current major project is representing Consumers for Dental Choice, a national coalition fighting for consumer awareness of the risks of mercury-based dental fillings and a level playing field for mercury-free dentists. Mr. Brown has served as a staff attorney at the Federal Trade Commission, the Deputy Attorney General of West Virginia and chief of that state’s Antitrust Division. His law firm’s lead partners, David Swankin and James Turner, are two of the nation’s leading consumer advocates, Mr. Swankin the former assistant to Presidential consumer advisor Esther Peterson, and Mr. Turner an original “Nader’s Raider” under Ralph Nader Mr. Brown graduated from Denison University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and from Yale Law School. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a civil rights workers in Mississippi and a teacher at a state prison. Mr. Brown has argued before the Supreme Court and currently directs the Victims Rights Political Action Committee.

Rashid A. Buttar, D.O., F.A.A.P.M., F.A.C.A.M., F.A.A.I.M. Specializing in patients who have failed conventional medical treatment modalities, especially in cancer and cardiovascular disease, with emphasis on preventative and nutritional medicine. Dr. Buttar is board certified in Preventative Medicine and Chelation Therapy. He also serves as Director of Clinical Research & Development for V.SAB Medical Laboratories where he is involved in polypeptide sequencing and innovative methodologies for drug delivery mechanisms. Dr. Buttar is an active advocate of Biological healing techniques.

Walter J. Clifford, M.S. Clifford Consulting and Research, Inc. Pioneered and developed Materials Reactivity Blood Precipitin Testing to evaluate the biocompatibility of dental materials with individual patients’ immune systems. “Jess” Clifford has lectured extensively on biocompatible materials and their relationship to blood serum.

Steven N. Green, D.D.S. Dr. Green has lectured internationally on chronic facial pain, nutrition and dental aesthetics. Co-author of "The Value of Medical Diagnostic Tests in a Dental Practice " published in the Journal of American Dental Association in 1970. He has been on the staff of Mt. Sinai Hospital, teaching removable prosthodontics in the residency program. He participated as a staff member of the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital and was one of the founders of the TMJ Treatment Center. His home-study book on TMJ syndrome, published by Health Studies Incorporated had four editions. Dr. Green taught for eight years at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. In 1993 he was president of the South Dade District Dental Society. Currently he is president of PATH, a Miami lay group for Positive Alternative Therapies in Healthcare, and is teaching at the Institute for Natural Dentistry, is past president of the dental department at Robert Morgan Vocational School, is on the board and past president of the Biological Dental Association, belongs to the Institute for Functional Medicine, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology

Letha Hadady, M.S., D.Ac. Author of ASIAN HEALTH SECRETS: The Complete Guide to Asian Herbal Medicine (Random House, 1996); PERSONAL RENEWAL (Random House, 1998); and HEALTHY BEAUTY (John Wiley & Sons, 2003). Her weekly health column at www.winghopfung.com attracts a world wide audience. A traditional Chinese herbal- ist and nationally certified acupuncturist, Letha has taught Chinese herbal medicine to the general public as well as to medical professionals.

Boyd E. Haley, Ph.D., Professor & Chairman, Chemistry Department, University of Kentucky The technique of nucleotide photo-affinity labeling has been largely pioneered by Dr. Haley over the past 25 years and continuously supported by the National Institutes of Health. His research experience in the synthesis and use of photo-affinity nucleotide analogs in the study of protein biochemistry, heavy metal neuro-toxicology & neuro-degenerative diseases. Developer of Affinity Labeling Technologies Inc. a testing service that determines the toxicity of individual root canals.

James Harrison, D.D.S., F.I.A.O.M.T Practicing Biological Dentistry for over twenty years, a former instructor at Buffalo School of Dentistry, Dr. Harrison is a Director of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. He is the founder of the Foundation for Toxic Free Dentistry. Dr. Harrison frequently lectures on Biological dentistry and is the author of The Periodontal Solution: Healthy Gums Naturally.

George Keanna DDS.,FIND.,BCNP.,. Graduate of Geargetown University School of Dentistry. Completed a Residency at Castlepoint Veterans Hospital. Dr Keanna is a Board Certified Naturopathic Physican. Member of The Biological Dental Association, The American Academy of Biological Dentistry, The Internatinal Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology and The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr Keanna practices biological dentistry in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Roy Kupsinel, M.D. A noted international lecturer, Dr. Kupsinel practices Chelation Therapy and a nutritional drugless approach to the healing process. Some of the topics he will cover are The mind-body link, carbohydrate/sugar metabolic disturbances, candidiasis, mercury/amalgam toxicity/ electricticy, biochemical abnormalities from laboratory studies.

Bill Landers, President, OraTec Corporation In his role at OraTec, a corporation specializing in anti-infective periodontics, Mr. Landers is a leading expert on chair-side periodontal risk assessment technologies, including BioScan Phase Contrast Video Microscopy; the BANA Enzymatic Assay; TOPAS nucleotide affinity labeling and sulfide sensors. He also co-developed the anti-microbial agent TheraSol. Mr. Landers is the company’s principle spokesperson and a close associate of Dr. Paul H. Keyes (developer/Keyes Technique), he has also authored a number of periodontal course modules for on-line CE providers and dental publications. Mr. Landers has lectured and conducted seminars throughout North America on microbiological aspects of of the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases.

Philip E. Memoli, D.M.D., F.A.G.D., F.I.N.D. Practicing Biological dentistry for many years, Dr. Memoli teaches and maintains a private practice in Berkeley Heights, NJ and is an attending at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. He is the author of The Patients Guide to Biological Dentistry which will be released in 2003. He has completed extensive training in functional medicine and in dentistry, both Biological and traditional. His training includes such courses as the Pankey Institute, Peter Dawson seminars, Creating Restorative Excellence (Dr. Kois) and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education (Dr. Spear).

Michael Margolis, D.D.S., F.I.N.D. Practicing Biological Dentistry for many years with an emphasis on cavitations. Dr. Margolis is currently involved in a study at Arizona State University showing the possible correlation between mercury exposure and autism. He is also involved in a study of surgical biopsies concerning diagnosed ischemic bone sites by CAVITAT and digital radiography. Dr. Margolis is a member of the Biological Dental Association and The Academy of Biological Dentistry.

H.L. “Sam” Queen, M.A., C.N.S., C.C.N. Queen and Company Sam is the founder and director of research for the Institute for Health Realities. Through his work as an investigative medical research, clinical nutritionist, and with 25 years as research consultant to the Wallace Research Foundation, Sam had developed a Human Health Model. He has developed a highly effective means of helping doctors get at the underlying cause of disease, and helping people reach the highest levels of health possible for them. In 1988 Sam became the first to connect low cholesterol with increased susceptibility to mercury exposure, and in 1990 he extended the recognition of a health risk from low cholesterol to cancer. Dr. John Robert, B.Ch.D., F.I.N.D. A graduate of Leeds University School of Dentistry (1981), Dr. John maintains a busy private Dental Health Practice in Manchester, England. After many years of study on both sides of the Atlantic he will complete his Doctor of Integrative Medicine Degree at Capital University in Washington, DC (2002). Dr. Roberts is president of the United Kingdom I.A.O.M.T., and an assistant editor of a TMJ journal in the UK. He has lectured extensively on issues of complementary and natural dental care including nutrition, homeopathy, herbs, cranial osteopathy, etc.

Sherrill Sellman, Internationally acclaimed author, psychotherapist, medical journalist, and contributing writer to health magazines worldwide. As a lecturer and women’s health advocate, she has bravely broken through the walls of silence surrounding the dangerous use of steroid drugs found in the Pill and Hormone Replacement Therapy. Sherrill is a popular guest on radio and TV, she has appeared in several documentaries as well as lecturing widely in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Paul Yanick, Jr., Ph.D., N.D., C.N.C., President of the American Academy of Quantum Medicine An acknowledged expert in the emerging field of Quantum Medicine, with over thirty years of extensive experience. He is a board-certified naturopath, nutritional consultant and practitioner in Quantum Medicine.
